Smart and independent in intralogistics

KEB Automation at LogiMAT 2026

Logistics ensures movement – and KEB Automation moves logistics. We will show you exactly how this works at LogiMAT 2026. At the trade fair for intralogistics, we will focus on your individual requirements. Whether we're talking about storage and retrieval machines, cranes, conveyor and platform technology or driverless transport systems: together with us, you'll find the ideal automation and drive solutions. With feed-in and feed-back options, state-of-the-art safety technology and the smart use of existing machine data, we create intralogistics solutions that are truly state of the art.

We look forward to seeing you at KEB Automation

At a glance

  • Why it's worth visiting KEB

  1. Individuality is our standard: Our automation and drive solutions consisting of IIoT, HMI, drives, motors and brakes are optimally matched to each other. This enables us to provide you with a “complete package” that is tailored to your specific intralogistics requirements.

  2. No more high energy costs: Utilise the generator energy produced during lowering. Our feed-in and energy recovery systems ensure energy balance within a system or direct recovery of excess energy into the supply grid.

  3. The solution for limited installation space: Compact drive components are essential for conveyor belts, driverless transport systems and storage and retrieval machines. You will find the perfect gear units and brakes for precisely these applications at our exhibition stand.

Our highlights at LogiMAT 2026

The automation platform for logistics tasks: NOA

Your data can do more: They enable your customers to access new services, avoid downtime, plan maintenance work, make processes more efficient – and open up additional opportunities for your business.

NOA is an open and scalable automation platform with future-proof architecture that works independently of hardware. Exciting for intralogistics: With NOA, you have the option of quickly and easily performing condition monitoring of AGVs, among other things.

  • High flexibility
  • Linux and container-based architecture
  • Optimised processes and machine availability

Tip

Would you like to visualise the data generated by your storage and retrieval machines, conveyor belts and other equipment? Then we recommend HELIO, our HMI management system. HELIO is available as an app in NOA or independently. With this tool, you can create responsive HMIs in no time at all, regardless of platforms and end devices. And best of all, you don't need any programming knowledge to develop your HMI.

Drives for lifting and lowering: COMBIVERT F6 / S6

The COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers and COMBIVERT S6 servo drives are powerful frequency inverters with integrated safety features.

The F6 is used for lifting and chassis axles, among other things, while the S6 shows its strengths in load handling. Both drives control a wide variety of motor technologies. In addition to asynchronous and synchronous motors, high-torque IPM and synchronous reluctance motors, among others, are also reliably controlled.

  •  Power range from 0.75 kW to the megawatt range
  • Energy savings through operation in a DC network
  • Parallel connection possible
  • Functional safety: SLS, SSM, STO and more – even without encoders
  • Different installation and cooling types

Save energy with the suitable drive technology

In many cases, energy costs can be drastically reduced in intralogistics applications. To this end, KEB not only offers options for simple DC networking of drives and harmonic filters for reactive power reduction. With KEB feed-in and feed-back units, simple DC microgrids can also be implemented for efficient energy exchange. This means that braking energy is not dissipated with the resistors that would otherwise be installed, but can be fed back into the grid in a grid-friendly manner. Active infeed converters also ensure sinusoidal grid feed-in and grid feed-back with “PFC” power factor correction and serve as voltage boosters. The increased DC bus voltage results in an extended speed range and thus more torque in the field weakening range.

Power in material handling: (gear) motors

KEB gear motors drive the lifting and travelling mechanisms of storage and retrieval machines and conveyor belts, and are indispensable in many other areas of intralogistics. You can choose from a wide range of high-efficiency synchronous and asynchronous motors. Due to their high torque transmission, helical gearboxes are a popular choice in conveyor technology, for example. Flat gearboxes can also be a sensible option, as their space-saving dimensions may be required, for example, when a motor is to be positioned under the conveyor belt. Worm gearboxes, on the other hand, are ideal for hoists, for example, due to their self-locking properties.

  • Modular (gear) motors for individual requirements
  • Compact and durable gear solutions
  • System formation with other KEB components

Energy-saving and compact brakes

In intralogistics, particularly compact brakes are often required. With the new COMBISTOP S1 Flat, KEB Automation offers the right solution. This means that, in addition to the COMBISTOP S1, a new design of the innovative spring-applied brake is now available, making the brakes suitable for use in numerous intralogistics fields. Like the COMBISTOP S1, the COMBISTOP S1 Flat does not contain any rare earths – and yet offers performance equivalent to that of a permanent magnet brake.

Bistable brakes and clutches are optimised for use in battery-powered vehicles. They can be found in the drive wheels of AGVs, among other places, where they impress with their zero energy consumption (except during the switching pulse). Their simple system integration and maintenance-free design also make the bistable products one of the highlights at the KEB stand.

  • S1: Independence from rare earths for secure supply chains
  • Reduce energy costs with bistable brakes and clutches
  • Compact dimensions for limited installation space
  • Stable torque across all temperature ranges
  • High vertical range of manufacture
