HIGH TORQUE IN THE DE-ENERGISED STATE
KEB spring-applied clutches are characterised by particularly high torque and operating safety. Electromagnetic spring pressure clutches use spring force to stop the frictional joint connection, which is cancelled out by electromagnetic force in the opposite direction.
KEB spring pressure clutches are used in cases where particularly high torque needs to be safely transferred, e.g. in conventional hybrid drives where the assemblies have to be adapted exactly to the specific customer application.
Highlights
- High torque with zero electric power
- Easy system integration
- Maintenance-free “plug-and-play” units
- IATF 16949 certification
