PROFILE EXTRUSION

BLOW MOULDING MACHINES
The multi-stage process that takes place in blow molding machines requires solutions that take a holistic approach to blow molding. KEB offers drive controllers for the main drive up to 1.2 kW, which, thanks to their compact dimensions, can be installed in almost any control cabinet and also feature integrated safety technology.
INJECTION MOULDING MACHINES
From fully electric machines to hybrid machines (electric and servo-hydraulic) to hydraulic machines for which corresponding servo pump software is available – KEB offers the right drive. Fully electric solutions with non-linear torque control are ideal for regulating the clamping unit and thus reducing the machine cycle.

The COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers and COMBIVERT S6 servo drives are powerful frequency converters with integrated special plastic functions. They control a wide variety of motor technologies. In addition to asynchronous and synchronous motors, high-torque IPM and synchronous reluctance motors, among others, are also reliably controlled. Special plastic functions are already integrated in the drives.
In some applications, such as large extruders, the drives are subject to particularly high power requirements. As a standalone variant, the COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers have a power output of up to 450 kW. If this is not sufficient, parallel connection offers a practical solution. Up to three devices can be connected in parallel, achieving power outputs in the megawatt range.
In addition to the extended power range, you also benefit from scalability due to the variable number of units and the resulting configuration options. Since individual units can be replaced as needed, parallel connection is particularly service-friendly.
For hydraulic systems with highly dynamic control technology requirements, the servo pump is the ideal solution for plant and machine builders.KEB offers you an efficient and convenient software-based servo pump control function – integrated in the F6 and S6 drives and tailor-made for plastics processing.
KEB offers the perfect motor solutions for all tasks in plastics technology. For example, asynchronous and gear motors are available that, as true working machines, are able to meet the requirements of an extruder, for example. In injection molding machines, on the other hand, the use of air- or water-cooled DL4 servo motors is recommended.
